New to Kamloops? Registration for students new to Kamloops is ongoing throughout the school year at their designated school. Please refer to School District No. Administrative Procedure 305 School Boundaries and Student Transfer Requests and Administrative Procedure 306 Schools of Choice, French Immersion, and Academies for clarification regarding school boundaries and enrolment in Schools of Choice, French Immersion, or Academies.

School Catchment Boundaries
Use your home address to find your catchment school with School Locator and School Boundaries Map tools.
If you are unsure of which school to register, contact the School Board Office at 250-374-0679.
To expedite the registration process for your child/children at Valleyview Secondary please contact Student Services and follow these steps:
- Download and print the Student Enrolment Form ** Must be printed on legal-sized paper. If you are unable to print the form, forms are available at all schools and can be filled out at the school.
- Please bring:
- ALL of the registration forms
- Child's proof of age and legal name (birth certificate or passport)
- Proof of address with an updated driver's license, with your current address on it. Driver license updates, reflective of your current address, are easily completed at either of our local motor vehicle branches.
- Please also include any other pertinent legal documents or court orders regarding guardianship or citizenship
