Honour Roll Distinction
Honour Roll Distinction is for students in Grades 10 - 12 only.
To be eligible for in a semester, students must meet the following criteria:
- Grades 10-11: Must be enrolled in 3+ curricular classes in a semester.
- Grade 12: Must be enrolled in 3+ curricular classes in a semester.
(Grade 12’s with 2 curricular courses will be considered by the Principal on an individual basis).
To receive Honour Roll recognition for the year, students must receive an AVERAGE final grade of 79.5% or higher for ALL courses in a given semester.
To receive Honours with Distinctions recognition, students must receive an AVERAGE final grade of 85.5% or higher in ALL courses in a given semester.
Any online courses, District Trades Program (DATA, HSA, Sampler, etc.) that are completed and have a final mark by the end of the semester will be considered towards the Honour Roll calculation.
*Marks from the following courses WILL NOT contribute to grade calculations:
- Youth in Trades (MWRK course codes)
- TRU Start or Trades (TRNV course codes)
- Teacher’s Assistant 11 and/or 12 (YED course codes)
